Our teachers foster and support each student to reach their maximum potential and are committed to constructing a Culture of Achievement in an environment where students are energized, engaged and empowered to become active participants in their communities.

Our teachers promote the development of attitudes and values within an international curriculum and teaching environment that supports independent learning, confidence and global understanding.

Professional Development of our teachers is an on-going priority to The Apple Tree to further enhance their teaching skills. Annually, the school provides experts from overseas to train and work with our teachers throughout the school year.

Our teaching staff consists of professional teachers who possess degrees in either Early Childhood Education (both Ba's and/or graduate degrees) or a related child development field. Teachers are trained in the IPC programs and have time built into their schedules to work with their age level colleagues to share ideas and teaching strategies. They actively attend professional develоpment seminars each year in Early Childhood Education to be updated in the field.

Each staff member is certified in CPR and First Aid.
